NASA's Curious Universe Podcast Art - Sun Series
Throughout history, humans have continuously tried to understand the universe in which they live. Orreries in 1700s were one of the ways humans tried to model the solar system. Since then, our understanding and technologies to observe our place has advanced so much so that we are about to practically touch the sun with our probe.
This artwork aims to juxtapose the 18th century orreries with today's incredible technology to celebrate the incredible strides in science and technology humans have made.
