NIVA is an app that will match you with another user to help you safely get home when you have to travel home in all situations. It also features live-stream/recording and contact shortcut for the right authorities that you can activate quickly without looking or exposing your phone that can be a target.
This is a reiteration from a previous project "NIVA", (see this link for research and stakeholder interviews)
This time around, the project pivots away from the hardware(as it was logistically and financially not viable) and focuses on the software, an app, that will act as a safety network across community by utilizing voluntary users nearby to keep an eye out for other user's commute home.
Project duration: 8 hours for wireframing and prototyping.
